As part of a series of lectures on Israeli-Palestinian conflicts, Professor Tanya Reinhart will critique Israels handling of the Palestinian problem and examine the reasons behind the war.
Tanya Reinhart is a professor of linguistics and cultural studies at Tel Aviv University and at the University of Utrecht. She has had a regular column in the biggest Israeli daily, Yediot Aharonot, and is the author of Israel/Palestine: How to End the War of 1948. As of January 2007, Professor Reinhart will take up an appointment as Global Distinguished Professor at New York University.
Professor Tanya Reinhart is in Australia to deliver the 2006 Edward Said Memorial Lecture at the University of Adelaide.
